What was your first CP year?

2015

Who brought you into the CP family/ How did you get involved?

I came to CP through Nicole Golden and another mutual friend of ours. We all used to work together and it was serendipitous because it reconnected all of us and brought to CP. I thought it would a one-year thing, but here I am five years later.

What has been the most memorable CP play you have seen or worked on and why?

Honestly, while all the works have special memories for me, what really sticks out for me is the spirit in the space with the artists and the audience. I'm sad we won't be in the room together at The Wild Project this year, but I fully expect that spirit to continue to be there.

So you win the cherry pie, who are you sharing it with?

America. ;)

CP gives me the courage to…

Be a generous and fearless artist. There is a sense of play and colloboration and inclusivity that make the experience of working with Cherry Picking really heartening. It reminds me there are people in our community like this and moreover, that this is rule and not the exception.

What have you learned during quarantine that you’d like to carry with you in the future?

That sometimes by doing less we actually do more.
