Retrospect(ive): Weinstein

What was your first CP year?

2004 was my first year as an audience member.  2007 was my first year as a participant.

If you could do a CP play again which would you choose and why?

SPENCER, OR NOT: A-You-Choose-What-Happens-Next Playlet.  I only read the stage directions but that play generated a city's worth of electricity.

Who would you love to take the CP stage with and why?

I struggled to answer this because I've gotten to share the stage with so many people whose work I love and admire.  (You rule Johanna!) In considering people I haven't shared the stage with though, it's a three-way tie between Nicole Golding, Vince Gatton, and Laura Gourdine.  The three of them are so, so good.  Stage time with any combination of them would be intimidating and thrilling.

What raffle do you cross your fingers for?

The catered dinner. I understand Tamara Reynolds can cook. I also know she'd be a wonderful host.

What’s your favorite CP tradition?

That would be, "Cast Awkwardly Waiting To Pour More Prosecco Into Audience Members' Plastic Cups While Everyone Waits For the Shows to Begin."   (A slightly - or very - drunk Kevin Jones is the absolute best person to spend this time with\)

At CP I am…

free to experiment.

What's the first thing you’ll do when quarantine is over?

Visit my parents.  I miss them so much.
