In your opinion, what’s the biggest sh*tshow of 2023? 

Menopause, as evidenced by my student noticing my hot flash in class and offering for me to move closer to the window.

What’s your favorite mess to make?

Cleaning out a closet or drawer. But I can never clean up the stuff that I take out. Someone else has to do that.

Can you describe a time when you were left to clean up someone else’s mess?

Yes- every time my children get a Dunkin coffee to go.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever kept in a bathroom?

Pictures of my dad talking to Gerald Ford and David Brinkley.

What’s your biggest mistake that was worth making?

Any mistake I have learned from.
