11 DAYS TO GO! Our seventh blog post is for Kevin Jones! Kevin, long-time picker, is back onstage for another year! He’s joined us as both writer and actor over the years, and however he shows up, we know he’s always “King of The Pick.” Here’s how he responded to our questions:

In your opinion, what’s the biggest sh*tshow of 2023? 

It’s a tie! Congratulations to Elon Musk and the GOP primary field.

What’s your favorite mess to make?

Art.

Can you describe a time when you were left to clean up someone else’s mess?

My parents moved into their brand new home in 2007. Any boxes they didn’t have time to go through during the initial move were lined up against the walls in the garage making for some very tight parking. In July, while there, my 91 year old father said he had run into the boxes while parking and dented the wall behind the boxes. The time had finally come. I unpacked, sorted, and found permanent storage for the entire lot. It took two days, 4 mosquito bites, and a spider bite on my hand. But after 16 years that mess is finally over and it’s safe for dad to park there at least until he’s 100.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever kept in a bathroom?

A space heater. Not sure that’s actually weird…but it’s dangerous, so that has to count for something.

What’s your biggest mistake that was worth making?

Pick any one of my exes.

And of course, your favorite expletive upon witnessing a sh*tshow?
